BCCI introduced the Indian squad for the 50-over Asia Cup 2023, which will probably be held from August 30 to September 17 in Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
Wicketkeeper-batter KL Rahul and middle-order batter Shreyas Iyer make a return to the squad, which incorporates Hyderabad batter, Tilak Varma. While Varma has been included as a further batsman, quick bowler Prasidh Krishna returns after an extended damage lay-off.
India will face off towards archrival Pakistan in a Group A match on September 2 in Kandy. Nepal is the opposite crew grouped alongside India and Pakistan.
