Ben Stokes has reversed his ODI retirement and was named within the squad for the four-match ODI collection towards New Zealand subsequent month.
England coach Matthew Mott not too long ago revealed that he was desperate to lure the Test crew skipper out of retirement and was keen to play him as only a pure batter in ODIs.
Stokes retired from One Day Internationals in July 2022 and as not too long ago as within the aftermath of the Ashes, had reiterated his intentions of staying retired from the 50-over format to be match for the Test collection towards India in early 2024.
Stokes suffered a knee harm throughout his time in New Zealand again in February, inflicting him to overlook many of the Indian Premier League season.
