The former Australian Open champion said she views her Montreal return as an important first step forward on the comeback journey.
“As a competitor you all the time need to win clearly, however on the finish of the day if I have a look at this match, I’m happy with myself. I’m completely happy that I acquired to play two matches,” Wozniacki said. “I’m completely happy that I sort of know the place I stand, what I can do shifting ahead.
