Olympique de Marseille will not need to serve a one-year switch ban after the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) on Friday partially upheld a FIFA ruling on a dispute between the French membership and Watford over the signing of Pape Gueye.
The dispute started in 2020 when Senegal worldwide Gueye signed a pre-contract at Watford earlier than the tip of his deal at Ligue 2 membership Le Havre.
