Among their day-to-day duties, the normalization committee may also “review the ZIFA Statutes and Electoral Code to ensure their compliance with the FIFA Statutes and requirements, and to ensure their adoption by the ZIFA Congress”.
The normalisation committee will likely be chaired by native administrator Lincoln Mutasa, and should full its mandate by June 2024.
The draw for the African qualifiers for the following World Cup is to be held on the CAF Congress, which formally begins in Abidjan on Thursday.
The first spherical of fixtures will likely be performed in November.
